Principal Engineer - AI Agents

We are currently partnered with an Agentic AI startup (backed by world-renowned VCs and Professors and led by ex-Meta / Microsoft / Stanford alumni) who are looking for a Principal Engineer to join the team and lead the development of their Enterprise Agentic products.

Led by 2 ex-Meta/ Microsoft Tech & Product leaders and Researchers with, the business are building Enterprise Agents that are capable of automating internal processes and communications in global orgnizations.

As a Principal Engineer, you will need considerable expertise in AI/ML research and application, as well as strong software engineering capabilities to ensure scalable, robust, and efficient implementation. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and high-performance software systems, driving both technical strategy and execution.

You will design, develop, and optimize AI agents capable of reasoning, learning, and autonomous decision-making, and will also lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to production deployment.

Key experience required:

• PhD / MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8+ Yrs' exp. in AI/ML engineering, with a background in deploying AI models at scale.
• Proven experience building AI Agents / true Agentic Systems
• Knowledge of LLMs, reinforcement learning, NLP, knowledge graphs, and multimodal AI.
• Strong software engineering skills, with proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with distributed computing, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
