Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Level I Snowmaker is responsible for maintaining, moving, and setting up snow guns and hoses for extensive snowmaking operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the required equipment inspections and servicing and record results accurately and completely

• Safely operate snowmaking equipment and snowmobiles

• Report any problems with the product or equipment which arises during an assignment

• Assist co-workers with minor equipment repairs

• Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment and facilities

• Other duties as assigned

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Heavy equipment experience preferred

• Must be safety conscious and have a mechanical aptitude

• Understanding or development of snowmaking/removal objectives and techniques

• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds

• Able to walk on steep and variable terrain and tolerate working in extreme conditions

PAY RATE:

• Pay: $21.00 per hour
