Adjunct MOPED Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Moped Instructor to provide comprehensive training to new and experienced riders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understand of safe riding practices, and the ability to create a positive learning environment. 

• Conduct moped training courses for individuals and groups, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of safe riding.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional material that meet state regulation and best practices for moped operation.
• Ensure all training sessions are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching methods and safety practices. 

• Ability to pass a background check
• An instructor of an approved course shall possess a valid driver's license allowing unaccompanied driving other than a temporary restricted license and shall be able to operate a motorized bicycle. An instructor must also have a clear driving record for the previous two years.  
• A clear driving record means the instructor has:
  •  No driver's license suspensions, revocations, denials, cancellations, disqualifications or bars.
  • Not committed an offense that would result in driver's license suspension, revocation, denial, cancellation, disqualification or bar.
  • No record of a law enforcement investigative report indicating two or more contributive motor vehicle accidents in a two-year period.
