The Clinical Coordinator is a staff member of the PA Program at Creighton University in Phoenix. The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Education to manage and coordinate the logistics of student clinical rotations and other curricular delivery during the clinical phase of the program. Additional duties include working with the Program Analyst to manage data collection and analysis to support the ongoing program self-assessment and student assessment processes. ***This position is in person***.

Essential Functions

Serve as the primary point of contact for preceptors and clerkship/rotation coordinators during the clinical phase

Development and maintenance of student schedules for students in the clinical phase

Participate in site visits to clinical rotation sites and meetings with preceptors

Data entry and management of student and preceptor information system (EduSched and Eclas) for the clinical phase of the program

Manage the clinical onboarding and compliance for students in the clinical phase of the program

Work with clinical sites to establish and maintain affiliation agreements

Collaborate with PA program staff, faculty, and Program Analyst to perform data collection, management and analysis from program evaluations and other data utilized for ongoing program evaluation and accreditation support

Participate in regular program faculty/staff meetings

Participate in Clinical Education Committee meetings

Support program events and projects, including recruitment and admissions

Other duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Director of Clinical Education

Qualifications:

BachelorĂ¢??s degree
2-4 years related experience
Experience in health professions education preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in data entry and analysis using Microsoft Excel and other statistical software
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function in a team-based work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
