Children’s Physicians, the primary care pediatric group for Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, is currently recruiting BE/BC Pediatricians for Nebraska to provide clinical expertise for our growing newborn rounding team. This newborn hospitalist team supports the work-life balance of primary care providers who work primarily in clinics around the Omaha area and extends timely care to newborns delivered at regional non-Children’s Nebraska facilities. Our newborn hospitalists have two teams that rotate between three hospitals, one team covers two community hospitals, and the other team covers the traditional academic hospital whereby students from Creighton University Medical Center and pediatric and family medicine residents from Creighton and UNMC rotate every month. We are seeking a skilled pediatrician to provide routine newborn care, including procedures, such as circumcisions and frenotomies as requested or needed.
Children’s Physicians has 15 locations in the Omaha metropolitan area and a location in Kearney, Nebraska. Children’s Physicians serves as a true Medical Home with services such as social work, nursing case management, and behavioral health specialists. Lactation services are provided inpatient at Children’s Hospital and our newborn hospitalist team partners with community lactation services at area hospitals and community centers to provide breast feeding education to families. Children’s Nebraska is a strong network of general pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists across all disciplines.

All of this, combined with a diverse economy with multiple Fortune 500 companies, makes for an extraordinary quality of life.
