A Brief Overview
The COPE Program Coordinator is responsible for advancing Children's Nebraska's Children's Outreach and Provider Education (COPE) program, a statewide initiative supporting pediatric primary care providers in addressing children's mental health. This position builds and maintains strong partnerships with providers and community stakeholders, ensuring access to education, consultation, and resources that help primary care teams identify, manage, and treat pediatric mental health conditions within their practices. In addition, the COPE Program Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating the organization's Zero Suicide initiative, ensuring suicide prevention strategies are embedded across the Children's continuum as well as community education, outreach, and provider support efforts. This role bridges primary care and behavioral health, advancing both access and safety for children and families across Nebraska.
